Last Minute New Year’s Eve Outfit Ideas

Hola Fashionistas!

New Year’s Eve is fast approaching and I know many of us are looking for that perfect New Year’s Eve outfit. After all, it is a time when we want to look our best, welcoming in the wonderful new year.

If I’ve learned anything since living in MN, it’s that nothing keeps us Fashionistas from looking great and wearing exactly what we want, when we want to; even the minus degree temperatures. Just grab a nice, warm coat that compliments your outfit, and you are ready for a night of celebration.

Today I’ll share with you a few outfit ideas for your New Year’s Eve bash. I opted for the traditional black and silver combinations, but please know that color is also appropriate for the festivities, as well as sequins.

Tulle Skirt – eBay

I have several different colors and love them all. My favorite of course is the black. It’s a great staple piece and looks fabulous for an evening out, styling with sequin, rhinestones and heels, or for day time, creating a fun look with flats or even your comfortable converse sneakers. Skirt does ship from China, so it will take a couple of weeks to receive.

Etsy also has quite a few selections and shipping may be faster.

Forever21 – Layered Tulle Midi Skirt

Another version of the tulle skirt. Quite similar to one Zara sold last year.

Forever21 – Metallic M-Slit Skirt

I love everything about this skirt. It’s actually been in my cart for a while now. It’s a great piece, you can style it for a day or evening out. Has that boho, chic look and will look great, styled with a pair of heels.

Zara – Sequined Crop Top

This top is a bit pricey, but will look fabulous with your black tulle skirt. Don’t hesitate to invest in a sequin piece you love. It will always be trending and last for years to come.

Nordstrom – ASTR Sequin Pattern Tank

One of my favorite tops to style with my skirt. I like that it’s sleeveless and a bit more form fitting. It will look great with your puffy tulle skirt.

Zara – Sequined Dress

I have a similar dress with sleeves, that I wore for New Year’s Eve, 3 years ago. I styled it with a pair of black suede booties, with a silver glitter heel. Pictured here. The dress was comfortable and fun, as you can see, still trending.
