Hola Fashionistas! Wow, it’s been soooo long since I’ve blogged.  I need to get back on track here, and begin posting regularly. I hope everyone is doing well, and adjusting to our “normal” now that the world has slowly opened back up; giving us a glimmer of hope. Another Senseless Death – His Name Was George Floyd

I do not own the rights to this picture I’ve been sick to my stomach since viewing the video of MPLS man, George Floyd. Handcuffed on his stomach and held down by three police officers and one standing guard. One of them kneeling down on his neck.  Unable to breathe, he cried out for mercy, “I can’t breathe.” Bystanders yelling, hoping to get these officers to realize the severity of their force, as he struggled for air.  Only to be ignored and threatened. Today is a Day to Celebrate!

🥂It’s time to celebrate. Five years ago today, I started taking Tamoxifen to lower my breast cancer risk (if you don’t know my story, you can find it on my blog). So here I am today. Just met with my wonderful doctor. Dr. Stan, you’ve impacted my life in so many ways. Thank you. My mammogram came back fine and I’m done with Tamoxifen. A medication that has made me irritable, forgetful and made my joints ache, among other side effects. I celebrate because overall, I tolerated this medication amazingly well.
