Easter Sunday in the Mist of Corona

Hola Fashionistas.

Imagine my surprise when I saw, on Sunday, that we were expecting 4 plus inches of snow, on an April Spring day.  #inserteyeroll

Just a few days ago, I was wearing shorts and enjoying the sun outside and today it’s 23 degrees out. This makes no sense at all!

On Resurrection Sunday, we watched our service and then went to pick up our dinner.  I have to be honest with you, I’ve been a hesitant about eating out (my husband not so much).  Is it safe, is it not safe?  Who the heck knows!  The few times we have, I have disinfected every container and then I’ve placed the items in the microwave for a few minutes.

Honestly, I find all this stressful, and wonder if it is even worth putting myself through this. #justcookgirl

Roads were practically empty.  The small amount of people outside were those also doing pickups.  Some wearing masks, others not.  We weren’t getting out of the car, so we didn’t have ours on.

Life has changed in the blink of an eye.

Throughout all this, I’m reminding myself every single day to choose peace, joy, blessings, and colors.  Lots of bright, happy colors to lift my spirit and shift my mood.

I’ve been wearing this shaggy cardigan the last few days.  The bright colors are spectacular and it’s such a fun piece.

When we went out, the snow looked beautiful I had to document the moment.

Styled with a cute Shein sweater dress and a pair of Zara sneakers.  Dress is soldout, and sneakers were purchased from their last sale.

As you can see, I’ve been wearing my bandanas* every day.  The thought of buzzing my hair has crossed my mind and my husband is all for it.  So is my daughter.   She says it will look cute on me.  I’m not so sure.   I’ve been talking her off the ledge, as she is close to shaving hers.  This pandemic has us going crazy.

On a more serious note, I pray everyone is doing well.  Trusting and declaring that this too shall be over soon.  I know it’s easier said than done, but we have to remain positive.  I know our emotions are a hot mess right now and that is ok.  Just don’t stay in that dark place for long, bellas.

Trust, believe and just breathe.

Much love and many blessings.

I Love this Lewk on You! Your weather is more fickle than mine. It should not be snowing now. Sorry. Isn’t mother nature something else?? Maybe its time to move south. We are having high 80’s so far this month.

Omg 80 sounds heavenly right about now. Last time I looked at the temperature it was 23°. Truly insane.
